Pubs
Highfield Campus area
- The Crown - Good beer, infamous bar maids. Go after polo/pool sessions!
- The Highfield - Spoon's Style with a little more character.
- The Stile - Actually on campus, Cheap lunch for 2!
- The Gate - Locals pub, friendly but note the closeness to flowers estate!
- The Stag's Head - Students Union, need I say more?
Portswood area
- The Terminal - Now Varsity. Food's pretty good, Average Priced
- The Mitre - Always showing Sports!
- SouthWestern Arms - Not student prices, but best Real Ale, Pool table etc.
- The Dolphin - Similar to the South Western but the other side of the tracks, excellent beer garden in the summer
Bevois Valley(By Jesters)
- The Hobbit - Huge beer garden, Famous Pint Cocktails, Live Music
- So-Bar - Modern Bar/Club, Pint cocktails, pool table, beer garden.
- Clowns - Very Cheap, Its the Jesters Pub equivalent. Juicy Lucys.
Towards Town (Avenue to high street)
- Goblets Bar - Bar with flavoured vodkas, Town side of Giddy Bridge
- Giddy Bridge (Wetherspoons) - Popular Spoons, can get busy!
Far side of town (High Street to Docks)
- Standing Order (Wetherspoons) - The better of the Spoons, towards the docks.
- Cork and Bottle - Meeting place for the Boat Party!
- Pitcher and Piano? - Beautiful dockside setting, Pretentious and over priced.
Clubs
Highfield Campus area
- The Cube? - The Student Union Duh!
Bevois Valley(By Jesters)
- Jesters!!!
- Dungeon? - Rock/Metal Club. Plays Cheese on Wednesdays - Awesome!
Towards Town (Avenue to high street)
- Rhino? - Great Club that plays anything but the usual crap music
- Soul Cellar - Great atmosphere, great music
Far side of town (High Street to Docks)
- Frog and Frigate - Table Dancing!
Leisure World
- Ikon-Diva - Someone who actually goes here write something!
