Dolphin

The Dolphin is the quieter cousin of the ubiquitous South Western and as such can be found on the opposite side of the railway to it (i.e. the Portswood side). To get there you need to go down Osbourne Road South and it is right next to the station. You can see where it is and even get directions using Google Maps.

There is a fine selection of beer and if you ask for Lager they generally only offer you a straw or an umbrella to go with it. There is sometimes live music as well which all adds to the entertainment. The Dolphin really come into its own in the Summer when it has one of the few decent Beer gardens in Portswood.
